This STAYS on. It's my first eyeliner, I think I would've preferred the pen for my first eyeliner but I'm stuck with the brush, it has lots of nice color and gives a good liner, once it is there, it's there, it's staying. It stays for a long time. The amount of free oil it came with also was surprisingly big.
