I have normal skin and use this at night and in the day before applying makeup.  It's light and not too oily and it has a slight, pleasant smell that disappears after applying.  I give three stars because I haven't noticed any huge improvements in my skin, although I don't have too many skin problems to begin with.  This is a good basic moisturizer for those with normal skin, but don't expect any significant improvements.
