So, I'm pale. Like really pale. Super-duper Min Suga pale. So when I watched reviews and demos of the Vanilla tone, I was ecstatic, especially since my favorite BB cream (Etude House's Perfect Fit BB) is nowhere to be found on the internet. But I was kind of disappointed. For those who have a very white skin tone like me, this product may NOT be for you. It has a very yellow undertone to it that may not be flattering on most of us ghosties, which I was quite disappointed to discover. To give you an idea of what it looks like, imagine dotting any BB cream on your face and letting it oxidize without blending. Yeah. Not that flattering. Maybe I got a dud? The product was leaking out when I first opened it, so maybe it was a floor sample or got exposed to some serious light? I'm not sure. But still, be wary.

Blended out, the difference in tone is not that noticeable on an average sunny day, but in dim lighting (like in an office or on a cloudy day), it's pretty obvious.

That being said, I don't mean to scare anyone away! This is a great product. Despite the slightly-off color, this BB cream spreads like a dream with a wet or dry sponge, and looks like natural skin! The coverage is fantastic and build-able. The formulation is made for people with oily to combination tones, so I personally do not recommend it to those with dry skin--this WILL cause your dry spots to stand out. As you may have guessed, there is a faint powder-y scent, but it does fade after a few minutes.

Sets well with powder (oily skin people only, omg) and/or mists and lasts for a good while, even when you sweat, which is lovely. Now if I can just get a little bit of a tan... haha~!

So for people with pale skin, I recommend purchasing this product (even Vanilla shade) for summer use if you already have yellow or neutral undertones (like me). People with pink undertones should approach with caution.
