When I bought this product I expect it to be thick and heavy but this is very lightweight essence that absorbs into the within a minute. It hydrates and sooths perfectly. This is a "boring" product wit no actives and it takes time to see any major results like stronger skin barrier and healthier skin. I will keep buying it cause it is simple, doesn't irritated my skin and is easy to combine with products with active ingredients in my routine.
