I've purchased this for a friend who has oily skin and has expressed a need for a peeling product. They have previously used a product by the name of "Drops of Light" by "The Body Shop" and found that both products are similar to eachother. Hence why in some of its sections this review will be comparing these two products.
Skin type: oily
Frequency of usage: four times a week
Pros:
- The peeling effect of this product is milder than "Drops of Light", which is good for the skin;
- Leaves a feeling of freshness and cleanliness;
- Good at removing makeup and dirt with just a few scrubs;
- It could be easily removed with a clean towel or washed off after use;
- It doesn't seem to have any colorants and the grains in it are small and dissolve easy.
Cons:
- Requires your skin to be clean and dry before usage, which usually takes more time in preparations;
- Not suitable to use in the shower;
- Has a very strong scent reminiscent of a bathroom cleaning product or a detergent;
- Lemon as an ingredient could potentially have a whitening effect which is a big no for me personally.
On the pictures you can see the list of ingredients and the instructions for usage of the product, as well as a makeup removal test with a few lip tints. :)
