This does include alcohol, it is the second ingredient after water. It does dry out the skin. At first my skin wasn't quite used to it so I got a breakout but then afterwards, I got used to the high alcohol and it worked nice. After not using it for about a day, it does have a layer of powder at the bottom that you would have to shake.
