I purchased this as a first cleanser as I wanted to get back into an AB routine for better skin. My skin is a bit of a mess atm, I have an oily T-zone with everywhere else dry, dehydrated and sensitive to fragrance. When you open this balm, it has a nice herbal scent and is waxy and thick. When you apply the balm to your skin, it melts into an oil instantly and lifts away make-up, suncream, gunk and grime with ease. The fragrance is not irritating (at least to me) and not overpowering either. It was easily rinsed off with water, and my skin felt clean with no stripping or tightness. Would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a nice first cleanser.
