Like its name, essence water, it's lightweight and watery. It absorbs fast and my skin feels hydrated after applying. It also has a subtle scent of herbs. A decent toner essence - I'm not expecting something miracle, good (clean) ingredients, not so pricey like other ging-seng products :)
