This stung a bit when I first put it on but the stinging went away really quickly. Keep in mind I wasn't using an acid before. It's a watery texture and absorbs really well. The rest of my skincare absorbed much better than usual as well. It definitely makes my skin smoother and my acne pigmentation has lightened. My skin is sensitive though so I wouldn't use it more than once a week.
