I've never used hydrocolloid patches before, but now I can't live without them. I have constant pimples and tiny breakouts all over my face, so whenever I see one that is about to pop, I poke it a little with a sterile needle to let the fluid drain a bit and then put this patch on top. I use it at night, so that when I wake up in the morning, the inflammation is gone, along with all of the yucky goo inside the pimple. It speeds up the healing process tremendously, and you're left with minimal scarring.

I would use this for pimples that are about to pop, not those deep cystic acne where it is deep under the skin. I always follow up with some sort of acne treatment after removing the patch.
