as far as what this product is supposed to do, it works wonderfully. after the first use, redness was reduced and my skin was more plump and hydrated. the texture is like any other snail essence, very nice and smooth and sinks in quickly. unfortunately though, i recently learned i was allergic to snail, and so this product caused my face to break out in closed comedones after a few days of use. if i wasn't allergic i'd definitely still be using this, so if you know your skin is fine with snail, i absolutely recommend it! great quality and value.
