It goes on smooth, pigmented and VERY waterproof. The size is a bit smaller than normal and it looks very unimpressive when you look at it. I took a swatch on my hand and was skeptical of its waterproof claim because it was super smooth. The swatch on my hand lasted through several hand washes with soap and a shower. I had to use a cleansing oil to get it off.
