my skin is dry and sensitive, so i don't use cleanser in the morning. i splash my face with water and then use toner on a cotton pad to swipe any remaining dust on my face. with some toners though, it sucks hydration from the face and leaves a dry feeling. with this toner, it makes my skin feel moist and soothed before moving on to the rest of my routine. i'm really pleased with it! the scent is really strong though. it didn't irritate my skin, but if you're sensitive to scent, i'd look elsewhere.
