This has sort of a weird herbal scent but it goes away after rising out. When using it, it has a tingly sensation on the scalp, which makes it feels like something is happening/it works. Use it after shampooing. Don't need to use conditioner afterwards since it does a good job of that. Haven't really seen any effectiveness in "anti hair loss" but do feel like it cleanses the scalp.
