It has a thick consistency compare to other usual toners. There is a scent to it and I think it comes from the list of fermented ingredients, the smell is very strong at first but goes away really quickly. The toner absorbs to the skin nicely, does not leave the sticky feeling on the skin despite its thick consistency. I was afraid that my skin would not like this toner that much but now I would say that my oily-combo skin can tolerate it well.
