The Line Friends×Missha collaboration is seriously one of the best things to ever happen. I had looked at the Missha cushion before but never thought to try it out until the limited edition packaging came out. I am so glad Line Friends put cute characters on the cushions as it let me try a really good cushion out!

I purchased the Missha cushion in #23 in the moisture version, a really good decision on my part! I originally wanted the regular version, the one with Brown on it, just for the sole reason that I thought Brown was cuter than Sally. However, after reading reviews I saw many people talking about how the Brown version cakes up as the day progresses and that it doesn't look that great when you try to touch up. I have combination skin that leans more dry so I knew immediately that the Brown cushion would not cooperate well with my skin so I went with Sally instead.

When they say this is a moisture cushion, they are not kidding!! Just from a slight push of the finger or cushion puff, you pick up so much product! The product is very wet and once applied on the skin it gives you a beautiful, dewy, glowy look. When you press the product into your skin it has a cooling effect and it's very easy to blend out, perfect for beginners. It is not as dewy as other reviews make it out to be; other reviews had me scared to get to purchase the cushion originally because even though I have dry skin, I don't want my skin to look like an oily, hot mess. The cushion dries nicely and it's not sticky or tacky so your hair won't get stuck to your face, something I experienced with the Hera cushion. One thing to take note of is that it does rub off easily if you wipe your face but I'm sure using a powder and/or primer might help this problem. I did use this in hot weather and it did come off near my hairline but it wasn't noticeable and a small touch-up would take care of that. I also want to add that there is a light, fresh, almost laundry-like scent that does linger.

The coverage was a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I honestly expected the coverage to be just light as it is a cheaper cushion, but I got a nice medium coverage instead! It evens your skin tone and for me it covered up any post acne marks better than any other cushion foundation I've tried. You would still need a concealer if you have very dark or bright red marks left behind from acne or for very pronounced dark circles. I recommend using a primer for those who do have textured skin left behind from acne! (I did provide a collage above to show you what the cushion looks like on the skin and no filter/retouching was added or applied.)

The only problem I had with this cushion is the color. When I apply the cushion on my face, in natural light it comes off as pink. On a swatch, in natural and artificial light, it looks more yellow, yet on my face it looks pink and you could clearly tell it didn't match my neck? I wish Missha had a better selection of colors for their cushions as Iope and Laneige have because I think that would help make them a go-to brand for cushions.

I know this review is a bit long, but I really wanted to make sure I touched on everything for anyone thinking about buying. This is one of the best cushions I've used, especially considering the price. The formula is high quality and is something I would expect from a more high end brand; this cushion is on par with Laneige for me and my skin. The limited color choices are an issue but maybe in the future they'll change it. I highly recommend this cushion to anyone with dry or combination skin!
