This is a very moisturizing, yet lightweight essence, a great first moisturizer for any type of skin. I have combination acne-prone skin and the essence moisturizes, gives my skin a natural glow and improves its texture and tone. It doesn't seem to be comedogenic either and it helps with acne scars, giving overall texture improvement. It can be used for your day routine but it definitely works better at night, as part of a longer routine. I would definitely recommend it!
