At first it almost looks like clay, very pasty, brown and white. Once you add water it turns immediately into a light foam. The texture is amazing, super smooth and spreadable with a great slick. It feels amazing on the face and left my skin clean and happy, no dryness, no tightness. My only con is the smell. It smells horrid, like something that’s gone bad. The expiration date is 20231130, and it was sealed – so I don’t know if it’s gone bad or if that’s the regular scent. Might try it once more because of the great texture, but the smell is seriously off-putting for me.

*After checking the item description again, it seems to have decomposed which probably explains the smell. Seems the coconut oil has gone rancid.
