Color is pigmented and can be used as a brown eyeliner. Holika Holika makes the best single eye shadows as they are very smooth, pigmented, silky to apply with no fall out. I got the Tailor shade, the colour matches what is advertised in the pictures. This shade is suitable for a base or can use as a contour. Love it! I do like to buy single eye shadows shades sometimes as you can pick and choose what you will use, and not waste money on eye shadow pallets where you might not use all the colours. It's a good size (not too small), will last awhile
