This essence is really interesting, but I'm loving it so far! You have to shake it well so that everything is mixed together, and you can pat it into your face like toner. I really like how my skin feels after the essence sinks in. My face feels really moisturized after using it, almost to the point of feeling greasy, but I feel super nourished afterwards. There's hardly any scent and hasn't caused any breakouts!
