I ordered shade 1. Birthday which is a neutral (but leans a bit cool) pink color that is not too bright. I think this color would go well for a neutral ombre lip look when paired with a deeper lip color. If you're looking for a base color, I think that this shade suits people with lighter skin tones. The lip pencil is retractable and is easy to apply as the formula is creamy, smooth and very pigmented. I would definitely recommend this for the price it is sold at.
