I use this before my moisturzer and I think it helps control sebum a little but not enough to last the whole day if you have extremely oily skin. For me, 1 hour after I put on foundation and powder my skin starts looking a little shiny, so this may work better for others but doesn't really help me. It's very light in texture abs doesn't go on oily but does not moisturize
