All you have to do is dry the area then let the sticker do it's the for a few hours and viola! The pimple obviously won't completely disappear in a few hours, but it's definitely flattened and less red. Although it doesn't work so well on cystic acne, it does absolute wonders on whiteheads. 10/10 would recommend.
