In Kbeauty, makeup base is more or less the equivalent of the Western "Primer".

I usually look for a primer that a) has some sort of tone correction and b) is moisturizing. I have combination skin that gets progressively drier into the colder months.

This primer is nice in that the peach color helped brighten my complexion, though it was a little extreme-looking at first. Obviously, this was designed to be layered with foundation, so don't expect the color to match your skin tone right away.

As for moisture, I found it a bit lacking. While it certainly isn't drying, I didn't feel like my skin was dewy enough and it may not be as effective for winter time unless layered over a dedicated moisturizer.

Not really sure I would buy it again, but the formula is nice and the color is what I was searching for.
