This product is good at getting makeup off, even stubborn waterproof stuff, just soak and wipe. It did not irritate my skin but it does hurt if you accidentally get some in your eye. Its oily, so you wouldn't want to use it without a cleansing routine, like to fix an eyeliner mistake, I keep a water based version around for that. My major complaint: it doesn't smell like apples! it claims to and looks like it should, but i can't smell anything which is disappointing.
