There aren't a great deal of low-pH cleansers available in Western countries - the closest I can find is probably the CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser, which is about the same price if not slightly more expensive than this cleanser. Both cleansers seem to do the job admirably, however this gel cleanser has a strange sort of smell when I put it on my face (possibly some fermented ingredients?) and when I go to wash it off, it leaves my face feeling a bit tight and dry. CeraVe, my usual cleanser, doesn't seem to do either. This is a solid product that does a great job of cleansing with just a few hiccups, but I will probably repurchase the CeraVe instead.
