The essence is a bit sticky, but after patting it on my face, it absorbs quickly with a matte(?) finish.
I use about 2-3 pumps and it provides just the right amount of moisture for my combination skin.
I think it's also helped in healing pimples faster and lightening up my scars/PIH.
One of my favorite snail products.
