This mild, scentless toner looks and feels almost exactly like ordinary water, so it isn't a very satisfying sensation to apply it to my face. But even though it is boring at first and I don't really feel like I'm applying toner, I touched my face after it had absorbed the liquid, and found that the surface of my skin was slightly colder and firmer, as if there were a lot of cool moisture trapped inside. My skin doesn't have major issues, but it is oily/combination and can be sensitive sometimes with powerful products, so I'm happy with this toner as a simple, gentle preparation step before the rest of my skincare. It seems to avoid making my forehead oily, and it doesn't leave the dry parts of my face too dry either. If you're looking for visible results from your toner, this may be too mild for you. It comes in a nice spray bottle, though, so you could try using it as a very light facial mist.
