This glides on smoothly and lightly, with just the barest hint of stickiness while I'm patting it in. This slight stickiness goes away almost immediately as the essence is absorbed. I love how moisturizing yet light it is; I usually follow up with other products, but on lazy days, I don't feel like I have to. For those with dry skin, it might not be enough to stop at this essence, but for me (oily/combination) it is plenty. Unfortunately, I suspect this may be contributing to my getting some tiny bumps on my face, which is surprising because the ingredients all seem mild. However, the bumps are very small and temporary, going away after a few minutes. I think the moisturizing (but not greasy or overwhelming) effect outweighs my skin's reaction, but eventually I will move on to try a different Cosrx product.
