I have oily skin and large pores and have been using this along with the essence from the same line. Together, they keep my skin fresh and control oil over the summer. However, I live in an area with very cold and dry winters and have found it to be drying recently. I actually had a small dry patch on my face the other day, and that's never happened to me before, even the times I've gone out in -40° weather without moisturizer. (I was young and foolish then--would not recommend. ;_;) I switched the emulsion out for a more substantial cream, and the patch quickly disappeared. If you have dry skin or live in a cold/dry/windy climate, you may find this emulsion to be drying.
