I haven't used many wash off masks. Particularly clay ones, as I find them both drying and difficult to wear. I also try to avoid the steam heating masks since I have broken capillaries and don't want to aggravate them. I picked this one up after reading reviews how it's not drying like typical clay masks and that it had peppermint as well. I LOVE peppermint. I'm obsessed with the smell of it (also use it regularly for muscle relief and tension headaches/migraines), but I don't see it very much in facial skincare.

This mask is just a pleasure to use. The mask goes one quite smoothly, smells lightly of peppermint, and immediately there is a cooling sensation. Some people who dislike the cooling/tingling attributes of peppermint may find it a bit intense or disconcerting, but I find it amazing and so relaxing! It also doesn't harden and stiffen your face while drying. I don't enjoy washing off masks because it's messy, but it leaves my face feeling nice and soft, and not stripped at all. I use this mask every 3-4 days prior to doing a massage double cleansing. A total repurchase! Not even interested in trying out more clay masks, I like it so much!
