In any sheet mask I am looking for few things: 1) the fit; 2)
the saturation; 3) the hydration and 4) the overall effect. These masks perform
quite well in all the categories for a budget-friendly option. The fit is very
nice – they are very thin and the sheet hugs my face creating good barrier that
boosts the essence inside. No scary faces, “Herb in Nude” is really a nude mask
sheet!
The essence is a bit watery, respectively the mask is very
saturated to the point that it is a bit drippy. Best was that I was taking it
together with a bath and I really didn’t care about the drops going down my
neck when applied.
Masks were hydrating. To my memory, the only difference in
the ingredients was the special active one, i.e. the lavender and the rooibos;
all the rest was the same between both. The rooibos mask is supposed to have
firming effect – this one I can’t judge on, at least for me I did not fill it. What it did help for was a unpleasant irritation received from testing a BB cream - it calmed my skin and visibly reduce the redness. The lavender one truly matched the promised soothing
effect. I really enjoyed it and I believe it was solely due to its skincare benefit
but mostly as it brings kind of a SPA experience. They say lavender essential
oil is very useful in aromatherapy as it has calming and relaxing effect; and truly
it was very suitable after a stressful day at the office.
Would I repurchase --> the lavender one - probably yes, and I might also
try the Green tea.
