Beautiful packaging. Came in a box with a blurb about why they chose Rodin as inspiration for this product, and the compact itself was wrapped in a bit of tissue paper. Inside the compact, there's a generous mirror, and a plastic insert separating the mirror from the powder. The compact is plastic but quite sturdy. The contour shades are very light but can be built up (the swatches included have been built up enough so it could be seen on camera). I think this is perfect for beginners with fair skin because it really takes a lot for you to over-do it! Shades are not too orange, and great for subtle shading. Really worked well in faking a higher nose bridge for my flat nose! I really like this product, and I've noticed that it's not as powdery/soft as the Rodin highlight or blush...but don't go dropping it! I have a feeling that it's still as fragile as the other two powder products in the collection. Only took off 1 star for the price...wish it was a bit more affordable, especially for a product that is meant to be used every day.
