Tbh I did not know what to expect from this product, but I thought there should be a reason for its hype. And yes, it is worth the hype.
I like to use it instead of toner+serum/essence, but rather than daily, I use it whenever my skin feels like it needs some extra-care.
Despite its exfoliating effect, the pads are moisturizing, and with moisturizing, I mean MOISTURIZING. I have super dry cheeks that tend to be flaky, especially after using an exfoliater, but these pads do a great job in hydrating them. The pads' own exfoliating performance is great, too, but in a softer way.
After using a pad for my night routine, my skin feels super soft and hydrated the next morning - not dry, but also not oily.
I haven't had any breakouts or pimples since I started using the pads.
I do think that it is a bit pricey and will probably try cutting it in half, but otherwise there's nothing to complain about.
One thing that should be mentioned though is the scent. It smells somehow synthetical and citrus-like? Nothing bad, but everytime I use a pad, the scent confuses me.
