The mask/product inside the socks is a thinner milky essence and while it makes the skin super soft right after use, once all of the product sinks in the skin the difference isn't as noticeable. The scent is barely noticeable, so it shouldn't bother anyone who is sensitive to fragrance. I like the SkinFood Shea Butter version better, because it felt more nourishing for my feet.
