I have super dehydrated - sensitive skin that I'm currently repairing, so my focus is skin barrier. When I saw this cream, it looked like it was just what I needed. DrJart has always been a good brand so I really wasn't concerned about the price.
The tube is like a prescription metal tube (hygiene is everything!) and the cream is a very light greenish color. This does have a herbal, medicinal scent that's  strong but not powerful or overwhelming (i actually like it)
The consistency is thick - almost like a balm - but spreads easily on the skin. I have only used it at nighttime. At first, it feels like i have applied a protective coating that shields my skin. Next morning, i have no traces of the cream left. My skin is very calm and soothed.

Is it worth it? Well, for me yes and no... This cream does its job, my skin does feel and looks repaired and soothed. But, maybe because of the alcohol in it, its not moisturizing/hydrating enough. (I might use this over a light moisturizer)  Would I repurchase? Most likely yes. Again, I do see results and hopefully with more time I will see more effect.
