Maybe it is because I use acids on a daily basis but I don't know what this product is doing for me. I don't know the percentage of BHA/AHA in this product. It's said that willow bark water and apple water are each 10% in this product but that doesn't mean that there is 10% BHA and 10% AHA of course, even with the other acids listed on the ingredient list. I think that in fine, the percentage of AHA and BHA in this product is very low, and that this is a good product in maintaining a good skin on a daily basis but I wouldn't use it as a treatment or peeling. As a treatment, I would use something with a higher percentage of acids. I found that product expensive for a really simple ingredients list, but that ingredient list is so good and without all that bad stuff I dislike in cosmetics.
Someone who doesn't use an low PH cleanser should use this product to restore the skin PH balance after cleansing. But again, I use a low PH cleanser so it's fine for me without an acid toner. If you use a higher percentage acid treatment, you should use this product before the treatment so that the skin PH is low enough for the acids in the treatment. Personally, that's how I use it, and it does the job.
