I purchased this polish in "Crystal Louboutin" because I prefer having darker nails and I wanted to see how opaque the colors would be.

When painting this onto your nails, the color comes out opaque in a single coat, but if you'd like an extreme black I would do a second coat.

I was used to using CND Shellac on my nails so proceeded to wipe down my nail with a gel cleanser after each curing to get rid of the sticky oily substance left over, however after using the gel cleanser, it lifted a bit of the black off of my nail, even after curing. I'm not certain if this is because of the gel cleanser or because of the etude house gel nail polish.

After a top coat, the color does stay in place.

The polishes are quite small so keep that in mind as well!
