Nice essence. It does seem to "shut" the pores. I'm not sure if it leaves a layer of product on the skin though. I have noticed sometimes to have white stripes around my face where I have applied it and not worked it in too well.. The scent is ok, nothing too overpowering. Nice to use under your makeup for a sleek and poreless look.
