Even though this cream is for people with dry skin, it isn't heavy at all for my combo-dehydrated skin. It seems more like a gel moisturizer/emulsion. I'd say this is definitely not enough for people with dry skin, let alone for people with the same skin type as me.
It feels like you put a layer of primer just sitting on top of your face before it absorbs in completely, so it's not really pleasant applying it with my hands. However, my makeup goes on nicely on top of it, and I think you could use this as a primer instead of as a cream.
One thing I don't like is that this seems to have a lot of fragrance-I was really surprised at how strong it was when I tried it for the first time. It continues to linger for a while after application, too. It's a fruity, sweet scent, like someone melted a whole box of fruit loops into it. It also reminds me of some perfume an old lady would use.
