I was so excited when this arrived but as soon as I prepared my face as I do for my normal base makeup, I realised that it would not be good for this cushion. When I applied this cushion it was dry but looked okay. After a few hours it looked cakey and like it was not on my face properly. This is because of how dry it is. The next time I used it, I applied a layer of moisture (i used a sleeping pack but any moisturising cream will work) immediately before I used the cushion and then the cushion looked much better and last all day and looked nice! It has good coverage so you don't need to use much, but more coverage will be needed for obvious red spots and pimples so probably use concealer there instead of extra of this cushion. I recommend this cushion for people with oily skin (I have combination skin - an oily t-zone) or for people without oily skin if they moisturise a lot first. It will be good to carry around during the day for touch ups, and a good summer cushion.
