This is my first fermented product. I bought it because I heard that it's soothing and hydrating. Since it's summertime, my skin has been more combination/oily and I wanted something that would feel light. This essence is exactly what I was looking for: it makes my skin feel so smooth. It's liquidy and absorbs quickly into my skin. (Picture below shows 2 pumps in my hand. I find that 1 pump is enough for my whole face.)

I also love that Niacinamide is the 2nd ingredient in this! Niacinamide has great brightening properties so I'm hoping it will help with my hyperpigmentation and make my skin brighter with extended use.

P.S: Kudos to COSRX for changing the name to "Galactomyces 95 Whitening Power" after being notified by customers of the racial implications of the previous name!
