I bought this because I wanted to give first treatment essence another go after being unimpressed with Cosrx Galactomyces. Upon the first use, I noticed a tinging effect reminiscent of alcohol and as expected, ethanol is 6th on the ingredient list. There are very few really beneficial ingredients in this bottle and the promised ferment ingredient, lactobacillus stood at 10.  I don't notice any benefit regarding whitening. As for hydration and silky texture, I've got better results with cheaper products. It also has a pronounced floral scent
