The Mela 14 was unsurprisingly gentle and glides on the skin like butter. I did notice a brightening effect after 2 weeks and I'm not using any vit C or other niacinimide products. IMO, the effect is as good as the famous C20 serum but less sticky and irritation. I've seen several reviewers said that there're better products at cheaper prices, but I don't recall any and I'm curious to be enlightened. If you frequently check Jolse, sometimes it's reduced to $18 for 20ml, which is not too shabby IMO.
