i'm not sure it was this product but i think this vitc c serum made me break out a little bit :( my skin type is combination and acne prone so maybe it was just me lol. however did lighten acne scars and hyperpigmentation slightly during the small amount of time i used it, and seemed to brighten the skin. Stung a little on application, probably because of the alcohol in it. Was also sticky on application which was annoying but still bearable. If it didn't break me out would repurchase.
