Prior to purchasing this product, I tested the Paula's Choice BHA Liquid, along with the CosRX BHA Liquid, and found that both of them caused horrible blemishes to form upon my skin. Surprisingly, despite the alcohol content, this BHA liquid did not cause blemishes to form! I found that it absorbed more quickly into my skin, and prevented several hormonal blemishes, which I usually encounter. I have noticed a slight decrease in the prominence of my blackheads, although it it still early to rule out its effectiveness in that category, as I have only (consistently) tested the product for two months.
Considering the price, it's worth a try for those who have had poor experiences with the PC and CosRX offerings, I'd say. :)
**The product smells of alcohol and faintly of tea tree oil + other extracts once pumped out, although it quickly evaporates once applied to the skin.
