At first application, the product may seem somewhat transparent on your lips with one layer. However, after the one layer of product has been on your lips for a while, the color starts looking very saturated on your lips. Full coverage can be achieved with another layer of the water tint. Because it is a water tint, it can wear off more easily if you lick your lips more often and eat more oily food. Otherwise, the staying power is pretty good (lasting around 5-6 hours) before you need to reapply on your lips. The smell is a faint fruity smell, which is very nice and refreshing.
