This cushion is perfect, in my opinion, for Westerners who want to try the world of cushions. it's really expensive, I know, but it's the one of the first I bought and I always end up coming back to it.

You know how Koreans adore the glossy skin finish? Most cushions end up having a similar finish and for us Westerners who are more used to matte skin or slightly dewy skin, it's often a bit of a shock how glossy cushions can make your skin. If your skin is naturally oily or even combination, it can even become a greasy, gross nightmare where the BB cushion separates and pools inside creases on your skin and you just look like a MESS.

The Laneige BB Cushion Pore Control has a semi-matte finish: it helps control sebum, is quite long-lasting and has a nice coverage. Your skin won't look greasy, but your cheekbones and high points of your face will reflect light and you will have a nice, youthful look without looking too much glossy.

Shade-wise, I am NW10 and I use #13 without issues. Honestly, I'll admit that shade is a bit too yellow and scared me at first, but it ended up a good thing as it covers my redness really well.
