This cleanser comes out of the bottle as a gel-textured substance as the name says (see photo below), however once the right amount of water is added to the cleanser, it foams up very nicely! After washing with this cleanser, I found that my skin did not have that "squeaky-clean" feeling which is good, and also this cleanser did not break me out.
