It is effective in breaking down even the most heavy of foundations and is gentle enough to use around you eyes to break down your mascara and other eye makeup. Although the packaging is bulky, I can't complain as there is a lot of product which will last you a while. It also comes with a little spoon that you can use to scoop the product out so it is hygienic to use. I will be re-purchasing this unless I can find something even better!
